Laurren Iacobellis

Founder, Registered Clinical Counsellor

I am a cisgender woman and a concussion survivor. I care about helping people through trauma, depression, burnout, chronic illness and chronic pain.

As an attachment therapist, I am vulnerable alongside you and we use compassion during therapy as a template for living a healthy life, with others, and with ourselves. This is the magic of therapy.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Counselling, Psychology from the City University of Seattle. I have also trained in the performing arts, receiving a Master of Arts, Theatre Theory and Dramaturgy from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts, English Literature, Minor Drama from the University of British Columbia. This unique training has strengthened my skill at tuning into emotions which is something I tap into to support you through big and hard feelings.

I love therapy. I live for transformation, self awareness and the hero's journey. I am not afraid of the dark parts of being human and our darkest moments can be exactly what we need to live a full life. It is my passion and privilege to journey alongside you.

Laurren Iacobellis is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#19389) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
